IGNITE workshop conducted by AHEAD Team.(Uday Chandran,Chetan Kumar and Sandesh ).
The IGNITE workshop was divided into four and conducted in four different days starting from 16th Nov. 2022 to 19th Nov. 2022. The workshop was organized by Aeques foundation with the help of Youth For Seva.
The team combined two schools; Girls Govt. High school & Boys Govt. High school, Talakal,
A total of 134 (48 Boys and 86 Girls)students participated in the sessions in which girl students outnumbered the boys. The day 1 session included inaugural ceremony, intro to the programs, resource persons, context setting and base line. Day 1 also witnessed the session which emphasized on the topics Self-awareness, goal setting, honesty and yoga and pranayama. The session also included skits, book distribution and revision.
Day 2 of the session included topics such as appreciation games and gratitude, problem solving and creativity, role model games, skit practices, book revision and assignments.
The third day consisted of assignment checking, skill and time management, family values, team building and leadership activities, revision and assignments.
The final session included recap, assignment checking, yoga and dhyana, career guidance, bharatha puzzle and social responsibility, conclusion and endnine assessment, skit practice, feedback and valedictory program.
In the overall sessions children were very interactive. The workshop was very well received by the entire team and will look forward to have such sessions in future.
